Ice cream Sundaes with the Howard girls!!

Last week me, Alex, & Riley went to the Howards and had ice cream sundaes.... It was so fun to just relax and talk and of course eat ice cream!! Rachel and Esi were not able to make it which was a bummer though! We missed them!

Alex's boo boo!!

So Alex got a big boo boo last week after him, Riley and some other kids on the bus were hitting a pottery thing. (I have NO idea why they were doing this!!) We took Alex right to the Dr's office but his Dr was a bit reluctant to stitch it up in the office thinking it needed to be really looked at close for tendon damage and that they might possibly need to do sedation. So to the ER we went... Alex usually has bad anxiety but handled it VERY well!! THe ER doc was awesome and Alex left with 5 stitches! I left with $75.00 less than I walked in with!! Hopefully Alex learned his lesson!!

21 years and counting!!

JOHN AND I CELEBRATED OUR 21ST ANNIVERSARY LAST FRIDAY (I TOOK THE WHOLE WEEKEND OFF)! WE HAD SOO MUCH FUN JUST BEING TOGETHER! JOHN GAVE ME A DOZEN RED ROSES THAT ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. OUR SATURDAY SLC PLANS GOT CANCELLED DUE TO THE STORM BUT WE STILL HAD A GREAT VALENTINES DAY TOO. I AM STILL AMAZED WHENEVER I LOOK AT JOHN - HOW LUCKY I AM TO BE MARRIED TO A MAN WHO IS SO AWESOME AND SUPPORTIVE OF ME AND MY GOALS/DREAMS. JOHN IS SUCH AN AMAZING FATHER TO OUR KIDS AS WELL. I AM BEYOND BLESSED!!! I REALLY DID NOT TAKE PICTURES THIS WEEKEND. THAT IS GIZZY'S FAULT FOR CHEWING UP MY MEMORY CARD!! THE LIL' STINKER!!

Application Complete!!

UPDATE: I have officially applied for the Masters program/grad school (Psych APRN -which is same as a Psych Nurse Practioner). It is a great relief to have the application submitted. It is a long application/process.... Now I guess I can truly sit back and be a bum! (Well a bum who is still pretty busy!) I should know by the end of March. The program starts Fall 09. Last year they had 18 applicants and accepted 10. So, I guess it could go either way. There is only one Psych APRN program in Utah. So keep your fingers and toes crossed with me and say a lil prayer that I get in!!
